Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (D) Arrive Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. Tonight,. We have dinner in Ha Noi restaurant .Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - Sapa (B , D ) Tree-lined boulevards, parks and lakes, magnificent French colonial architecture and a fascinating Old Quarter combine to make Hanoi one of Asia’s most interesting cities. We visit the mausoleum and house of Ho Chi Minh, the Temple of Literature, the Old Quarter with its street market atmosphere, as well as the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison. In the evening we visit Hanoi’s famed water puppet theatre. Free walking around Hanoi old quarter for shopping and short visit Dong Xuan market. Enjoy 1 hour cyclo tours around the Hanoi City's old quarters and the traditional water puppetry show. At 22:00 we go to Hanoi train station to board overnight train to Sapa .
Day 3: Sapa (B,D) The train arrives in Lao Cai at 06:00 am. Drive uphill to Sapa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sapa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in plain became unbearable. The remoteness and simple lifestyle of ethnic minorities are a highlight of Sapa although conditions are very basic. After checking into hotel we can soak up the fresh climate as much as we want by spending time to wander around. The ethnic people are frequently seen in this hill town and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and handicraft. In the afternoon, we trek to Cat Cat village (2 km from Sapa town) where you will visit the village of Black H'mong hill tribes. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Sapa Valley. Back to hotel.
Day 4: Sapa - Hanoi (B,L ) This morning, trekking to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages inhabited by Black H'mong and Dzay ethnic minorities. Enjoy amazing and breath-taking landscapes of terraced paddies, green valleys and meet with friendly local people. Back to the hotel and free at leisure. In the afternoon, we transfer you back to Lao Cai station to take night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B ,L ,D) Pick up at Hanoi station at 05:00. Transfer to a mini hotel to refresh and have breakfast. 08:30 am, we depart for At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sapa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in plain became unbearable. Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B ,L) Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at 04:00 pm. Day 7: Hanoi - Hue (B , L) Transferring to the airport to catch morning flight to Hue. Check-in hotel upon arrival and take refresh for a while. This quiet city is widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen Dynasty. We visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City like in Beijing. Free shopping in Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue
Day 8: Hue (B) Morning boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Ming Mang Emperor's mausoleum. Over night in Hue.
Day 9: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B,L) This morning we drive to Hoi An, we will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the China Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have break. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoi An. Known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarter and try some of the local specialties. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it. Overnight in Hoi An
Day 10: Hoi An (B) Morning tour to visit local market and boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit handicraft villages. Back to hotel and you will be free at leisure on the beach or wandering around the town for the rest of day. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Hoi An - Saigon (B) Free at leisure until transferring to Danang airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam's largest city has an exciting buzz as millions of people rush around on their daily business. We'll see the historic Reunification Palace and some great examples of French colonial architecture from the comfort of a cyclo. You will be free at the rest of day to make your own exploration to discover the city. Overnight in Saigon .
Day 12: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Can Tho (B , L) Leave your hotel at 7.30 for a 3-hour drive to Cai Be with stop en route at Trung Luong Bonsai garden for a tea break. Upon arrival, board a motorized boat to visit the popcorn cake, rice paper making family before visiting the lively floating market of Cai Be. Then continue by boat towards Vinh Long province to see the diverse fish traps in order to learn a kind of lazy fishing. After cruising along small shady canals, we step ashore and take a chance to watch a typical and interesting music show of the Mekong cultural life. Lunch is at the home/ bonsai garden. Afternoon, take a walk for about half an hour to enjoy the rural peaceful atmosphere of the countryside life, on the way we can also stop en route to learn more about fruit trees. Continue by boat to visit the brick and pottery factories. Back in the car at about 3 pm to drive to Can Tho. On arrival in the capital city of the Mekong Delta, do a walking city tour, including the local evening market to take photos of the busy trading activities before checking in the hotel. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 13: Can Tho - Saigon (B , L) Early morning board for a 3-hour cruise to Cai Rang and Phong Dien, 2 big floating markets with stops at a Bun Tau noodle factory and a short trek before arriving at a rice-husking mill. You can even try passing one of the many fragile monkey bridges along the canals photo shot. At the floating markets, you will discover a typical way of displaying and advertising farm products of local people gathering on the Mekong river to trade their goods. Drive back to Saigon with a lunch stop at My Tho.
Day 14: Saigon Departure – Siem Reap (B) Free at leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport to take departure flight onward. Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport meet our local English speaking guide, transfer to check in the selected hotel, take a short refresh and start to visit carving center of Les Artisan Angkor and silk farm lunch at local restaurant and relax at hotel. PM: Afternoon 14:40 meet our tour guide at hotel; continues to visit old market and straight to see fishermen at floating villages of Tonle Sap (The great lake in Asia), dinner at local restaurant enjoy Apsara dance performance, overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Siem Reap (B-L) After breakfast at 8:20 meet our tour guide at hotel, start to see south gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, Royal Enclosure and Terrace of Leper King, Ta Prohm, lunch at local restaurant, and relax at hotel. Afternoon 14:30 meet our tour guide at hotel; continues to see 7th wonderful world heritage of Angkor Wat temple and enjoy viewing sunset on Bakheng hill, dinner at local restaurant and after dinner free 1 hour for foot or body massage, overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Siem Reap- Phnom Penh (B-D) AM: Early breakfast check-out from hotel, 7:00 meet our tour guide and driver transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for flight to Phnom Penh (FT991 Departure 8:10, Arrival 9:00), meet our tour guide and driver in Phnom Penh International Airport start to see around town and market, lunch at local restaurant and transfer to check-in the selected hotel. PM: Afternoon 14:40 meet our to guide at hotel start to visit Silver Pagoda, Royal Palace, National Museum, dinner at local restaurant, overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh. Day 17: Phnom Penh (B-L) AM: After breakfast 8:30 meet our tour guide at hotel, start to visit genocide museum of Killing Field (Choeung Ek) located 15km southern of Phnom Penh capital, lunch at local restaurant, take a short relax at hotel. Day 18: Phnom Penh – Vientiane (B) AM: After breakfast do shopping and visit Toul Tom Poung market (Russia Market) and free leisure till transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport 2 hours before flight departure to Vientiane Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, we set our orientation short Walking Tour to Lao Capital, strolling around the city distance, and observing the sunset by the Mekong Riverside and late evening. Seeing the city lifestyle of local Lao people. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 19: Vientiane – Luang Phrabang (B) After Breakfast, we start to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. From there, we visit the Central Market call ‘ Morning Market’ where you can find the antique items for collection, well handmade textile and gift away items. After lunch We spend the rest of this day touring Lao capital, visiting the National Museum ( Revolutionary Museum) where varied antique items and legend of Laos’s history fighters and leaders displace from the ancient times to new revolution period. We then board a short flight to Luang Prabang, which is perhaps the best - preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. UNESCO registered 1995 as World Cultural Heritage City. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Asia. On arrival, we transfer you to hotel. After a short rest, we are strolling around to see the Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as viewing a beautiful panorama sunset over this once royal ancient city and the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang .
Day 20: Luang Phrabang – Pakou Caves – Baan Phanom (B) Breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then board a boat embarking upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we overland local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan continue seeing the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, which once belongs to royal family patronage and near by Sackarine Caves. We cross to city and take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 21: Luang Phrabang – Departure (B) Early this morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. This is the highlight of tour prior goodbye to this charming city. Breakfast, we then visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. We continue visit the silver smith’s and Fine Arts School and the Central Market are not to be missed. We visit these sights before we catch a flight goodbye to this ancient city.
